4. All-Day Longevity, Touch-Up Secrets & Final Edit
Welcome to Part 4 of 4 of my guide on @itsamyruth.
Once your look is in place, keeping the finish radiant and crease-free from morning to midnight comes down to smart finishing.

Pin Look
Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow
Real talk: prom night is long, so I always tell my clients to carry a mini travel hairspray and a few bobby pins in their clutch.
If the waves start to fall after dinner, flip your head upside down, shake your roots.
And re-spritz it reactivates the texture without re-curling.
For touch-ups at the venue, don’t re-wet the hair—that’s a rookie mistake.
Instead, use a dry shampoo at the roots to absorb any oil and give the waves a second life.
And when the night’s over, brush out gently before bed and braid loosely to keep the shape for day two, because a good prom style deserves a sequel.
