Last prom season, a client walked in wearing a deep teal gown with tiny shell details.
And I immediately thought of this Under The Sea theme.
We went with a soft, mermaid-inspired eye using iridescent blues and a pearlized highlight.
She looked like she’d just stepped out of a tide pool.
What makes this look work is balance: the shimmer stays on the eyes and cheekbones, while the lips stay muted and glossy.
