2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Sticky Eyeliner.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For cool undertones, stick with true black or a navy-black sticky liner—it makes the whites of your eyes pop.
If you’re warm-toned, try a deep brown or bronze sticky gel; it softens the look while keeping that sculpted edge.
I always match the liner to the client’s natural lash line color for a seamless blend.
Texture matters too—if you have oily lids, press a matte shadow over the sticky liner before it sets.
For dry skin, skip the powder and let the glossiness shine.
Proportions: keep the wing sharp and thin for round eyes.
Or thick and elongated for hooded lids to lift the eye shape.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
