Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow
Real talk: these braids are low-maintenance, but they still need love.
I tell every client to wrap them in a silk scarf at night and refresh the curls with a steamy shower or a spritz of water and leave-in conditioner every few days.
That keeps the spirals springy without buildup.
For longevity, avoid heavy oils on the scalp (they attract dirt) and instead use a diluted rosewater spray for hydration.
If a curl starts to frizz around week three, just re-dip that section in hot water for two seconds.
It’s the same trick I use backstage to revive curls between shows.
