2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Polka Dot Dress & Red Kitten Heel Mules.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you’re fair with cool undertones, swap the warm peach blush for a cool rose.
And choose a blue-red kitten heel instead of a true tomato red it’ll make your skin look porcelain.
For deeper complexions, lean into a brick-red heel and a bronzey terracotta blush to keep the warmth harmonious.
Texture matters too: matte lips work best with a satin dress.
But if your polka dots are on chiffon or silk, go for a glossy balm.
And if the dots are oversized, scale back your eye makeup to a clean lash and a hint of taupe.
Let the print be the star.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
