You don’t need a professional backstage kit if you layer your prep in the right order.

How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
In my makeup kit, I always have a red lipstick that matches my client’s shoe color.
It’s a fun secret weapon.
For a cherry red shoe outfit, I’d do a soft, matte base with a hint of blush, then swipe on that matching red lip and keep the eyes minimal with just a coat of mascara.
For styling, I’d tuck in a silk blouse or a simple knit, roll the sleeves twice.
And add a structured blazer.
The shoes are the star, so keep accessories delicate—a thin gold chain and a small crossbody bag.
Finish with a slicked-back low bun or loose waves to nail that ‘je ne sais quoi’.
