2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Parisian style.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If your skin has warm undertones, lean into orange-red cherries with a satin or matte finish.
They’ll harmonize with your golden glow.
For cool undertones, choose a blue-red cherry with patent leather for that crisp, high-contrast Parisian vibe.
Proportion-wise, if you’re petite, go for a pointed toe and a lower heel (2–3 inches) to elongate the leg line.
Taller gals can rock a chunkier heel or a loafer style; the key is keeping the rest of your outfit streamlined.
Think slim trousers or a midi skirt, never busy prints.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
