Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow
For real-life longevity, I tell my clients to carry a blotting paper and a mini setting spray in their clutch.
After a few hours of chatting and snacking, just blot the shine and mist—it revives the glow without disturbing your makeup.
If your lipstick fades after eating, use a lip liner to fill in the entire lip first; it acts as a base and keeps the color from wearing off unevenly.
I also recommend a long-wear setting spray with a dewy finish—it locks everything in while keeping that lit-from-within look.
And remember, a bridal shower is a daytime event, so don’t over-powder; embrace a little natural radiance.
If you do need a touch-up, use a beauty blender with a tiny bit of foundation only where needed, not all over—it keeps the look fresh, not heavy.
