Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow
Real talk: beaded corsets can snag on delicate fabrics.
So I always tell my clients to put the dress on after makeup and hair, and to use a satin robe during prep.
For touch-ups, keep a small powder puff and blotting papers in your clutch.
You’ll want to dab the forehead and nose every few hours, but skip the chest area to avoid powder settling into the beads.
After the event, don’t try to clean the dress yourself—take it to a professional who specializes in beaded gowns.
And for the skin, use a gentle micellar water to remove all the glitter and shimmer, then follow with a hydrating mask to calm any redness from a long night of dancing.
