3. My Step-by-Step Studio Application & Styling Routine
In Part 3 of our guide to Chic Winter outfit with a pop of color💌, let’s talk hands-on technique.
You don’t need a professional backstage kit if you layer your prep in the right order.

How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
In my studio, I always start with the shoes because they set the tone for the entire look.
Slip on those red kitten heels first, then build your outfit around them.
It’s like choosing your lipstick before your eyeshadow, it just makes sense.
I’ll ask my client to walk around a bit, get a feel for the height, and then we layer in the clothing.
Making sure the hemline shows just enough of the shoe to make it pop.
For the rest of the look, I keep the application simple: a clean base, a soft neutral eye, and a nude or slightly rosy lip.
The shoes are the star, so I avoid any competing bold colors on the face. It’s all about balance, honey.
