How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
Start with a quick detangle, then spritz a bit of water or setting mist to calm frizz.
Apply a pea-sized amount of cream from mid-length to ends, then part your hair where you like it.
I usually go with a slight zigzag for extra volume at the root.
Divide into two sections and braid each into a classic three-strand, pulling gently as you go to keep tension even.
Secure with clear elastics, then use your fingers to pancake the braids slightly.
This adds instant thickness and a lived-in, effortless look.
Finish with a light hairspray and you’re out the door.
