Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow

Real talk: braids can get messy by hour six, especially if you’re dancing.

I always tell brides to carry a small touch-up kit with a mini dry shampoo, bobby pins, and a travel-sized hairspray.

If the braid starts to sag, just re-pin the base and fluff the loops with your fingers—no need to redo the whole thing.

For the reception, I recommend a quick spritz of shine spray on the ends to revive the texture.

But avoid touching the braid too much the oils from your hands will make it look greasy.

And if a strand falls out? Weave it back in loosely and pin it under—nobody will ever know.
