2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Work outfit inspo | Work fit ideas | Classy outfit.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you’re cool-toned, swap the warm bronzer for a cool taupe contour and a berry-toned lip.
It’ll mimic that same tailored confidence without clashing with your undertone.
For olive or deep skin, deepen the blush to a brick rose and add a hint of golden highlight on the cheekbones.
Texture matters too: on dry skin, I’d blend a hydrating oil into the foundation for a dewier satin; on oily skin, stick to a powder foundation and a blotting paper touch-up.
Proportions stay the same soft eyes, defined brow.
And a lip that means business.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
