3. My Step-by-Step Studio Application & Styling Routine
In Part 3 of our guide to Women's Maven Basic Beat Eyeshadow Palette, let’s talk hands-on technique.
You don’t need a professional backstage kit if you layer your prep in the right order.

How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
Start with a primer—I swear by a thin layer of concealer set with powder.
Then, I use a fluffy brush to sweep the lightest matte from lash line to brow, followed by the mid-tone in the crease in windshield-wiper motions.
Pat the satin shade onto the lid with a flat brush, and finish with a tiny pencil brush for the outer V.
Don’t rush the blending—take 30 seconds per eye to soften edges.
I always tell clients to close their eyes and look down; that angle shows where the crease shadow should sit.
A quick spritz of setting spray after the whole face locks it all in.
