2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Women's Dresses – Billy J – US.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, I’d lean into a peachy blush and a champagne highlighter to warm up the complexion.
Cool undertones? Swap in a rosy pink blush and a pearl-toned highlighter for that icy, ethereal finish.
If you’re going for a more romantic vibe, add a touch of cream blush on the apples of the cheeks and a glossy lip.
For a modern twist, keep the eyes soft and matte.
And finish with a satin lipstick.
It balances the dress’s clean silhouette perfectly.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
