2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on WIFE OF THE PARTY / WE LIKE TO PARTY.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warmer undertones, I’d swap the champagne shimmer for a peachy-gold and use a terracotta blush to keep everything cohesive.
If you’re cooler-toned, go with a rose-gold shimmer and a dusty pink blush.
It adds that same party vibe without clashing with your skin.
Texture-wise, I love a satin finish on the cheeks and a dewy highlight on the high points of the face.
If you prefer a bit more matte, just press a sheer powder over the T-zone and keep the glow on your cheekbones and cupid’s bow.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
Keeping a saved reference photo on your phone makes it easy to compare subtle details, textures, and color harmony before you start.
