2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on whatemwore on LTK.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you have a warmer undertone, swap the crisp white blouse for a soft ivory or champagne tone.
It’ll brighten your face without washing you out.
For deeper skin tones, a rich burgundy or emerald blouse under that same blazer adds a pop of color that photographs beautifully.
Texture-wise, a matte silk or crepe fabric keeps the look professional.
But a subtle satin finish on the blouse can catch the light just enough to feel special.
If you’re curvier, go for a slightly longer blazer that hits at the hip to elongate your torso.
And pair with straight-leg trousers for a balanced proportion.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
