2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on The Elope Collection by Karen Willis Holmes | OneFabDay.com.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, I’d lean into a peachy-gold blush and a bronzer with a slight shimmer to catch the light.
If your skin runs cooler, swap the peach for a soft rose and keep the bronzer matte.
Just a hint at the temples to warm things up without going orange.
The texture is key: I’d use a satin-finish foundation, not full matte, to let the skin’s natural glow peek through.
For the eyes, a wash of champagne shimmer on the lids with a soft brown in the crease—nothing too smoky.
And the lips? A tinted balm in a rose-nude.
So they look polished but like you could still eat cake without a mirror.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
