2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Make it easy to say yes to the dress.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For brides with warm undertones, I add a drop of golden liquid highlighter to the foundation so it warms up without turning orange.
If your skin is deeper, go for a rich caramel base with a touch of rose-gold pigment.
It keeps the glow fresh against white without washing you out.
Texture matters too: if your dress is matte crepe, keep your face demi-matte with a light powder only on the T-zone.
But for a ballgown with sparkle, layer a dewy setting spray and skip powder entirely.
That mirror-like finish echoes the sequins beautifully.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
