In Part 3 of our guide to Red slingback heels, let’s talk hands-on technique.
You don’t need a professional backstage kit if you layer your prep in the right order.

How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
Start with a hydrating primer and a light layer of foundation, then set only the T-zone with powder.
I use a fluffy brush to buff a warm neutral shadow into the crease, then a slightly deeper shade on the outer corner.
This gives depth without heaviness.
For the cheeks, I smile and apply a cream blush in a C-shape from the apples toward the temples, then blend with a damp sponge.
Finish with a coat of volumizing mascara and a tinted balm on the lips.
It’s a 15-minute routine that feels effortless and stays put through a long day of fittings or events.
