In Part 3 of our guide to Red outfit, let’s talk hands-on technique.
You don’t need a professional backstage kit if you layer your prep in the right order.

How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
Start with a barefoot soak in warm water and a pumice stone to smooth any rough patches.
Red shoes draw the eye straight down, so your feet need to be camera-ready.
Then, apply a foot cream and let it absorb for five minutes before slipping on thin, no-show socks to prevent blisters.
When styling, I always tuck pants or jeans slightly above the ankle to show off the shoe’s silhouette.
For a dress, keep the hem at or above the knee.
It creates a clean line that makes the red pop.
