2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Masquerade Ball Magic: Elegant Prom Theme.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, lean into bronze and peach tones on the eyes and cheeks, with a nude lip that has a hint of gloss.
For cool undertones, swap in champagne and rose gold shadows.
And add a berry or mauve lip to keep the romance alive.
If you’re wearing a bold mask, keep your eye makeup in the same color family as the mask’s feathers or gems.
If your mask is simple, feel free to go heavier on the eye.
Just keep the rest of your face balanced and clean.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
