How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
Start with freshly washed, deep-conditioned natural hair, then braid it into cornrows or twist it flat to create a smooth base.
I always part the hair in a zigzag or diamond pattern to make the install look more organic and less ‘done’.
For the twists themselves, I use pre-stretched water wave hair, wrapping it around the natural hair in a two-strand twist motion.
The key is to keep the tension even and not too tight at the roots.
Trust me, your edges will thank you.
Finish by dipping the ends in hot water to seal them and fluffing the twists with a wide-tooth comb for that voluminous wave.
