2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Parisian Prom Perfection: Dreamy Decor Ideas.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If your undertone runs warm, swap the pink blush for a peach-rose and use a champagne highlighter instead of a pearl one.
For deeper skin tones, I love a terracotta blush with a golden sheen.
It keeps the softness while adding warmth that pops under fairy lights.
Texture-wise, go for a cream blush and a liquid highlighter if you want that lit-from-within glow.
Or press a translucent powder only on your T-zone if you’re oily.
The key is keeping the cheek and lip tones in the same family.
So the whole look feels cohesive.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
