2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Literal dream dress!.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, I’d swap the blush to a peachy-coral and add a touch of bronze in the crease.
If you’re cooler-toned, go with a dusty rose blush and a cool taupe shadow to keep everything harmonious.
Texture-wise, I love a satin-finish foundation with a dewy setting spray.
But if your skin runs oily, press a translucent powder only on the T-zone.
The dress is fluid, so keep the makeup fluid too.
No heavy matte masks, just breathable layers that move with you.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
