When I style a client for red shoes, I start with the outfit.
Black dress fitted or flowy, doesn’t matter then I build the makeup around the shoe’s intensity.
I’ll apply a long-wear foundation, set it with powder.
And add a touch of highlighter on the collarbones to echo the shoe’s shine.
For the eyes, I skip heavy shadow and go for a defined lash and a sharp wing.
It frames the face without competing with the red at your feet.
Finish with a balmy nude or soft pink lip, and you’re set for hours.
