2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Home – BeautyBrainsBlush.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, swap the champagne shimmer for a peachy-gold and use a bronzer with a hint of red to mimic a sun-kissed tan.
Cool undertones should lean into rose-gold and soft pink blushes.
While neutral tones can mix both just keep the base sheer so the skin breathes.
Texture-wise, I love a cream blush for a dewy finish.
But if you prefer matte, go for a powder and blend with a fluffy brush.
For bold prom looks, add a subtle winged liner or a pearly inner-corner highlight to balance the softness.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
