2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Follow @addisonriggs_ for more!.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you have cool undertones, swap the peach blush for a rose or soft berry tone.
And choose a pink-nude lip instead of a warm beige.
For deeper skin tones, I’d deepen the blush to a rich plum or terracotta and go with a golden-bronze highlight for that sun-kissed glow.
Texture-wise, if you’re oily, keep the matte base and skip cream blush; if you’re dry, mix a drop of facial oil into your foundation and use a cream blush under powder for a natural sheen.
Proportions matter keep the eyes soft with a wash of champagne shimmer.
And let the lip be the focus if you’re wearing a bold outfit.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
