2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Fall Makeup Looks: Granny Smith Green.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For fair or pink undertones, I’d soften the green with a champagne shimmer on the inner corner and keep the outer edge matte.
On deeper or olive skin, I’d deepen it with a forest green in the crease and add a gold highlight right under the brow.
Texture-wise, you can go full satin for a romantic vibe.
Or press a metallic green onto the lid center for a wet-look effect that catches every flash photo.
It’s all about matching the green’s intensity to your eye shape and comfort level.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
Keeping a saved reference photo on your phone makes it easy to compare subtle details, textures, and color harmony before you start.
