2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Daphné Moreau — Blog mode, beauté et lifestyle à Paris par Daphné.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, lean into tomato-red or brick-red flats.
They’ll make your skin glow without fighting it.
If you’re cooler, a blue-based cherry red adds that crisp, editorial contrast.
Texture matters too: patent leather reads dressier, suede feels softer for day.
And a pointed toe lengthens the leg.
If you’re petite, skip ankle straps and go for a low vamp.
It creates a longer line.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
