2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Daniella Halterneck Gown | Gold.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you have cool undertones, swap the gold for a rose-gold or champagne shimmer.
And use a mauve blush instead of peach.
For deeper skin tones, deepen the crease with a bronze or terracotta and add a glossy nude lip to keep the balance.
Texture matters too—if the gown is matte, go for a satin finish on skin; if it’s sequined, keep your face more velvet with a soft matte powder.
Proportions: with a halter neck, your shoulders and collarbone are the focus.
So a subtle highlighter on the collarbone ties everything together.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
