2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on Cute Lavender Dress.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
If you have warm or olive undertones, skip the blue-based pinks and reach for a bronzy champagne shimmer on your lids instead.
It balances lavender’s coolness without turning ashy.
For deeper complexions, I love a rich plum lipstick with a lavender gown; it adds depth and keeps the whole look from feeling too pastel.
Texture matters too: if your lavender dress is chiffon or flowy, go for a dewy skin finish.
But if it’s structured satin, match it with a soft matte foundation and a subtle highlight on the cheekbones.
Proportion-wise, keep the eyes soft and romantic, then let the dress be the star.
Unless the dress has a high neckline, then a bold lip is your power move.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
