Keeping That Backstage-Fresh Glow
Braids can last a few weeks, so your makeup routine should adapt.
After a week, the scalp may get a bit oily, so I recommend dry shampoo at the roots and a gentle astringent on the face to keep breakouts at bay.
Touch up your blush and lip balm throughout the day, but avoid adding more foundation—it can cake.
At night, wrap your braids in a satin scarf to keep them neat and reduce frizz.
That way, in the morning, you only need to refresh your edges with a bit of gel and reapply your lip gloss.
It’s all about working with the braids, not against them.
