Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For brides with cool undertones, I swap the peach for a rose-pink blush and use a champagne highlighter instead of gold.
If the dress has a high neckline or long sleeves, I keep the focus on the eyes with a soft bronze crease and a defined lash line.
While the lips stay muted.
Texture matters too—if the gown is heavily beaded or textured, I go for a dewier finish on the skin to balance it out.
For a minimalist crepe dress, I’ll add a bit more matte powder and a stronger lip to give the face some dimension against the clean lines.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
Always check how the finish and proportions look in both natural window light and warm indoor lighting so the result feels effortless from every angle.
Keeping a saved reference photo on your phone makes it easy to compare subtle details, textures, and color harmony before you start.
