Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For brides with cool undertones, I lean into rose and mauve blushes.
And a soft champagne shimmer on the eyes.
If you have warm undertones, swap in peach or apricot tones and a golden highlighter to bring out that natural warmth.
It keeps the ethereal vibe but feels more sun-kissed.
Texture-wise, if your dress is more structured or satin, I’d go for a velvet-matte finish on the skin to balance the sheen.
For a floaty, tulle or chiffon gown, a dewy, satin finish is perfection.
It catches the light just like the fabric does as you move.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
