To keep these braids fresh all day, I tell moms to let them set for at least an hour before any rough play.
And to sleep on a silk pillowcase to prevent frizz.
If a few strands escape, a quick spritz of hairspray on a toothbrush smooths them right back into place.
For touch-ups, I always carry mini elastics and a small spray bottle.
Two spritzes and a re-braid of the front section revives the whole style in under a minute.
And never leave braids in for more than two days; give those little scalps a break to keep the hair healthy and happy.
