2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on 35 Breathtaking Winter Wonderland Inspired Wedding Ideas – EWI.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Pin Look
Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For fair-to-light skin with cool undertones, I’d swap the pink for a pale rose-gold and keep the shimmer fine-milled.
Think crushed ice, not glitter.
If you’ve got medium or olive skin, warm it up with a peach or bronze frost instead.
And deepen the crease with a taupe rather than a cool gray so it doesn’t look ashy.
Texture-wise, skip any chunky glitter and opt for cream or liquid formulas that melt into the skin.
For a more dramatic prom or evening twist, add a subtle silver wing liner or a frosted lavender lid.
But keep the cheeks and lips soft you want one focal point, not a full blizzard.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
