2. Customizing Undertones, Shades & Proportions
Welcome to Part 2 of my breakdown on 30+ Colorful Eye Looks Because We’re Not Doing 'Neutral' This Year – Blush & Pearls.
Before you lock in your final formula or outfit pairing, here is how I adapt the tones and textures for each client.

Finding Your Most Flattering Version
For warm undertones, lean into terracotta and amber.
They’ll make your skin glow. Cool undertones?
Try jewel tones like sapphire or emerald; they pop beautifully against pinkish complexions.
Olive skin loves mustard and teal for that extra depth.
Texture matters too: if you’re oily, stick to matte crease shades and save glitter for the center of the lid. Dry skin?
A satin finish will melt in better and avoid that cakey look.
And always, always use a primer—it’s non-negotiable for color intensity.
✦ Which Finish Fits Your Vibe?
- Velvet Rose-Gold Glow: Effortless, soft-focus dimension that flatters every skin tone in daytime or candlelight.
- High-Impact Statement Finish: Crisp lines, rich pigment payoff, and bold contrast for evening events or street-style photos.
- Balanced Proportions: Keep one feature bold while letting the surrounding textures stay airy and breathable.
