How I Recreate It in Under 15 Minutes
When I’m styling a client with flat sneakers, I start with the outfit silhouette.
I’ll have them stand in front of a mirror and try on different pant lengths—ankle-grazing is usually the sweet spot.
Then, I focus on the details: rolling cuffs neatly or adding a small heel insert for arch support without changing the look.
For the shoes themselves, I recommend breaking them in before the big day.
I’ll have my clients wear them around the house with thick socks to soften the material.
When it’s time to step out, I use a clear gel pad inside to prevent slipping.
It’s a small step that makes a huge difference in comfort.
